PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Jennifer Horgan —

‘E ako ana, ā, e tipu tahi ana tātou’ - Learning and growing together.

Kia ora koutou

It was great to receive the following email from Vogel Street Kitchen Front Desk, following the Middle School's Street Art Tour.

'Just a note to say what an awesome bunch of kids your school has.

East Taieri should be very proud of the way your students represent your school. Our team and even some customers commented on how well behaved they were and the manners they used, and this was consistent across all 4 groups (120 kids) that visited Vogel St Kitchen recently. (Also a great team of teachers and parent helpers too) Please pass this on.

Cheers

Meg'

Thank you for the messages of support for Principals. A new proposed settlement is to be discussed this week at meetings across the country.

It is a busy week ahead at East Taieri with teams away at the Scrabble Competition today, the first Year 4 Museum Sleepover and Activities Day on Thursday and Friday, our Ukulele group playing at  the Dunedin Schools' Ukulele Jam on Thursday and the Year 6 seven-a-side tournament at Taieri College on Friday.

Enjoy your week.
