HERO INTERVIEW BOOKINGS: We have changed how we make bookings for Mid-Year Interviews/Whanau Connect. We are going to use our HERO management system. If you have any issues, please get in touch with your class teacher or Annette in the office. You will receive a notification to advise you that bookings can now be made. Log into the Caregiver App and navigate to School Books in the menu for your school.

Thank you to Danya Kerr, one of our third year teacher trainees who wrote a beautiful song in te reo for Mānuka and Mataī.

These students were noticed by staff, parents or students as displaying our school Values in specific situations.

Congratulations to these children who were chosen by their peers as showing fantastic 'Self Management'.

Thank you to the members of the Taieri Altrusa Club who brought gifts to school for our Teacher Assistants to acknowledge the work they do supporting our children with their learning.

East Taieri School will be participating in ICAS Assessments again this year. ICAS is designed to target students’ higher-order thinking and problem-solving skills in English, Mathematics, Science, Writing, Spelling Bee, and Digital Technologies.

The raffle was drawn under the watchful eye of Senior Constable Emily Plew. Congratulations to Kirsten Swney who was our winner!

The hold up to starting the bike track for Andrew Hollands, Hollands Excavation, is that he needs 600 cubic metres of hardfill. The existing soil in the paddock is not suitable. If anyone knows of someone planning a development or excavation where they need to get rid of hardfill that would be suitable for our bike track pease contact the school.
