At East Taieri School, Learning Support is a shared role, with each Dean being responsible for the programmes and assessment of children receiving support/interventions within their team.
SENCO - Natalie King - Junior Team Learning Support Needs. Transition to School. Gifted and Talented Lead Teacher, Tier 2 Literacy Intervention Year 0-2, whole school overview.
LSC (Learning Support Coordinator) - Denise Hannagan - Middle and Senior Learning Support Needs. RTLB referrals, Assistive Technology applications, Ongoing Resourcing applications. Tier 2 and 3 Literacy and Maths intervention - Middle and Senior.
Middle Literacy Intervention - Belinda Duff.
Tier 2 in-class intervention - All teachers are either trained or are training to be able to support Tier 2 learners with BSLA in-class literacy intervention.
