Trusting God - its in this Sunday's gospel - Mark 5:21-43

Jesus comes not so much to overturn the old, or leave the old behind, but he comes to transform - all who believe.

We are learning to trust God in all the twists and turns of our lives, wherever we are at. He shows us new ways of doing things while restoring and renewing.

Those who till the soil know about renewal, those who look after the fruit producing trees know about pruning the unfruitful branches, those who minister to others know the power of helping others trust God to restore us to peace and hope. Miracles do still occur in our world today (not necessarily as visibly as the healing miracles in this week’s Gospel) and behind those miracles is the power of prayer.

Keep up your intentional prayer for the regeneration of our parish and diocese. Remember to nurture your relationship with God through prayer, and your relationship with others in that prayer – and be specific about your needs and desires knowing that God alone can achieve the impossible. His grace is enough
