Update from the Board of Trustees

Vanessa-Amy Greenwood —

Kia koutou Ellesmere College whānau,

I am pleased to announce that on Tuesday this week the Board of Trustees met and had the honour of welcoming two new members to the board.

Anita Milne- Selected as community representative

“Hi my name is Anita Milne, I’m 38 years old and honoured to be the newest member of the Ellesmere College Board of Trustees. I live here in Leeston with my husband, our 9 year old sports mad son who attends Leeston Primary and our 2 year old Labrador fur baby. I’m an Administration Manager at a local family owned business where I’ve worked for nearly 11 years. I consider myself a sensible and logical decision maker, am community minded and have a passion for ensuring Ellesmere College is the best possible school it can be for our children, the staff and our community.”

Ben Fraser- Co opted as community representative

“My name is Ben, I live locally and have 2 perfect children (one of which has started at the college this year). I work in the civil contracting industry, specialising in road maintenance. I run three large road maintenance contracts currently. A large part of my role is dealing with stakeholders, financial management and working alongside employees to get the very best out of them. I am very experienced in finding solutions to various opportunities that come along. I am very privileged and excited to be involved in the BOT, and to be in a position to give back to the school community.”

Kind regards,

Vanessa-Amy Greenwood
