Year 7 Camp at Woodend.

The camp experience was most likely the best one I will ever have.

The first thing that probably caught our attention at Woodend camp is the scenery and atmosphere. The birds were constantly singing and the breeze was dancing and keeping us cool. The sun was regularly shining on our faces and there was always a clear sky. The camp seemed to stretch infinitely along with the woods. There was pea green grass that flowed through the wind and trees that rustled peacefully. The first people we saw there all had smiles on their faces and greeted us happily. The outstanding food included cheese nachos, burgers, sausages, toast and cereal. The greatest thing was that you could eat as much as you wanted to a certain level.

Our three days were filled up with activities that were exhausting yet exhilarating at the same time. The highlights were the water slide, go-kart, Rock wall, Zipline, mini golf, disc golf and volleyball. My favourite activity has to be volleyball because I liked the way people worked together as a team to play volleyball.

Everything was great but it never would have happened if it wasn’t for the teachers that stepped out of their way to take care of us. If I chose to never go then I would have probably felt like I was missing out on all of my college experience.
