Art Department

As the year comes to a close, we wanted to take this opportunity to acknowledge our students’ hard work and achievements throughout 2023. On behalf of our staff teaching Art, Drama, Music and Photography, we are so proud of all our students this year.

A special congratulation to Trelise Christian who was awarded the Wakelin Dux Artium at the Arts and Cultural Awards for excellence in the Arts. We wish her all the best for her Fine Arts studies at Canterbury University next year.

Well done to our Year 11 students who have completed their NCEA Level Two Art literacy assessment, and to all our Year 12 and 13 students who submitted their NCEA Art portfolios and Scholarship submissions, this is a huge achievement!

The achievement of our students this year has set the bar high, and we will be working hard as a department to help our students go further in 2024.
