‘Ko wai au?’

Kia ora , our ākonga have had an opportunity to learn about parts of our culture through the ‘Ko wai au?’ programme.

This is a programme that was developed to support ākonga in a safe kaupapa Māori realm.

Ākonga engage in cultural activities such as Whakairo (carving) & Raranga (weaving) as they connect to values such as whakapapa, tohungatanga ,wairuatanga etc based around the Durie model of ‘Whare tapawhā’.

Ko mihi mahana ia Damion and his team.
