Quad Rugby

The rugby team from Ellesmere College recently participated in a highly competitive quad tournament, where they faced formidable opponents from various schools.

Despite their enthusiasm for the first game of the season luck wasn't on their side for the 15 students we took away, as they unfortunately lost all three games.

The challenges began early in the first game when one of the team members suffered an injury at the start of the second half. Despite this setback the team continued to play their best displaying great teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.

Comments were made by parents from the other team who said that it was great to see the first thing that the team did after the game was finished was to rush over to check on their injured teammate.

In the final game even after going down to 14 players on the field, they put up a fierce fight and came close to securing a victory, but it ultimately eluded them by a narrow margin.

Despite the disappointing outcome, the team's resilience and camaraderie left a lasting impression on both their opponents and spectators, earning them respect and admiration for their efforts on the field.
