Student Leadership

We have an amazing group of student leaders who are encompassing all of the RISE values.

Throughout the term, our student leaders have been working tirelessly to create a positive impact within our school. From organising engaging events to volunteering their time, their dedication has truly made a difference.

Our senior student leader structure at the college is three-tiered. We have 4 Gold Badge Leaders (Head Students) ; Caitlin Barnett, Eve Bloor, Jodie Simmons and Caitlyn Stewart. There are 4 Silver Badge Leaders; Cadi Moore (Wellbeing), Trelise Christian (Sports), Biddie Ealam ( Environment) and Angelica Laumanu (Arts & Cultural). In 2023 there are 5 Bronze Badge Leaders; Morgan Pullan (Kowhai), Ashton Hasler (Totara), Shelby Wylie (Rata) and Brooke Tyzack and Allelie Anday (Rimu).

We also have junior leaders who support the senior leaders in their roles and take the front seat in Term 4. Our Junior Silver Badges Leaders are Oliver Hamers (Environment), Levi Coughlan (Wellbeing), Ethan Amyes (Sport) and Blake Seymour (Arts & Cultural).

Legacy Project: Concrete Tennis Table

We are excited to announce that the Legacy Project for the 2023 Student Leaders will be concrete table tennis tables. After carefully considering the interests and preferences, the leaders have decided to fundraise for a permanent table tennis facility that can be enjoyed by everyone for years to come. The concrete construction ensures durability, allowing countless hours of enjoyment and friendly competition among students during break times and after school.
