Large growth in Sports in the Middle School!

It’s exciting times at Ellesmere College with Winter Codes underway and it’s so heartening to see so many involved in the recovery from the disruption last year in the CoVid 19 pandemic.

At Year 9/10 Junior level we see Junior Boys Basketball competing in the newly formed Tuesday Secondary Schools competition. For the first time, we have a Junior Football XI competing in the Wednesday Secondary Schools competition.

We have experienced significant growth in Netball going from two teams to five teams entered this year including three Year 9/10 teams.

Well done to all involved and a shout out to teachers and community members that volunteer to make this happen. Also an acknowledgment to the Crate and Barrell Hotel for allowing us to use their van to transport our Junior Football team to their weekly games
