Year 9 Ako

Whānau challenges, learning about the body and much more!

We hope this newsletter finds you and your families healthy and well. As we near the end of another term, we would like to take a moment to celebrate the achievements of our students at 9Ako. It is truly inspiring to witness their resilience and dedication to learning, even in these challenging times where they have been rosterd home including unexpected times when we did not have any relievers to staff 9Ako.

One of the key factors contributing to their success is the proactive approach our students have taken to seek feedback on their assessments. During class time, whether in person or online, many have taken every opportunity to engage with their teachers, seek clarification, and receive valuable feedback on their work.

As parents, your continued support and encouragement play a vital role in nurturing your child's independent learning journey. We encourage you to engage in regular conversations with your child about their assessments, helping them reflect on their progress and setting goals for improvement. Your guidance and involvement in their education make a significant difference in their overall development.

As we look ahead to the next term, we remain committed to empowering our students with the tools and skills necessary for their academic growth and personal success. We will continue to provide opportunities for collaboration, feedback, and independent learning to ensure that every student thrives in 9Ako.

Thank you for being part of the 9Ako community.
