Maths - Beebots Year 4
The maths for room 16 & 17 has been to learn about the number 1000.
Room 16 & 17 have been asked to:
Create groups to work with.
With our groups, use cubes to create one big block of 1000 small cubes.
Prove to the teacher that there are exactly 1000 small cubes in the big block of 1000.
Once proven to the teacher, we break apart the block of 1000, and create a maze with it.
Finally, program the Bee-bot robots to complete the maze.
Some ways to display 1000 cubes are to:
Show ten 20 x 5 blocks.
Ten 10 x 10 blocks.
It was plenty of fun to create our mazes together and program the Bee-bots!
