School Docs is our “cloud based” policy and procedure system.

Schooldocs Policies:

This is a comprehensive core set of policies that have been well-researched and follow the Ministry of Education National Administration Guidelines. Policies are monitored by SchoolDocs and updated, modified or created in response to changes in legislation, significant events, Ministry guidelines, reviews/requests from schools and regular reviewing from the SchoolDocs team. Each term there are policies and procedures for review.

What is under review this term? You can go to the green button on the home page of the school website (scroll down) to log in or alternatively, Link to School Docs to review. (user name: elmwood and password: Elmw00d). Please note – 00 in the password are zeros.

This term (Term 4, 2025) our Staff and Parent community are reviewing:

• Searches, Surrender, and Retention of Property

• Stand-down, Suspension, and Exclusion

• Staff Wellbeing and Safety

To review these policies, please log onto our schooldocs website and follow the instructions below.

1. Visit the website http://elmwood.schooldocs.co.nz/1893.htm

2. Enter the user name (elmwood) and password (Elmw00d).

3. Follow the link to the relevant policy as listed.

4. Read the Policy.

5. Click the 'Start your review button' at the right hand top corner of the page.

6. Select the reviewer type “Parent”.

7. Enter your name (optional).

8. Submit your ratings and comments.

You can also search Quick links for parents and whanau which will take you to a summary of the policies for your perusal.
