Term 4 Night Classes - Papanui High School
World of Games
We are hosting a "World of Games" event on October 19th, from 12 PM to 4 PM as part of the Christchurch Heritage Festival. This event will be a fun-filled afternoon showcasing traditional games and sports from various cultures around the world. The day will include engaging activities for children, families, and the wider community, with food, sports, and great community vibes – and entry is free!

SENSE RUGBY - coming to Christchurch
We are launching Sense Rugby in your city this coming holidays. Sense Rugby is an occupational therapy led rugby program designed to help tamariki and rangatahi participate in active recreation and sport.
Our mission is to help all tamariki and rangatahi to love movement and sport.
We provide high quality, high impact, and accessible opportunities for disabled tamariki and rangatahi to participate in rugby.
We believe that sport and active recreation has the power to help create positive physical and mental health and wellbeing, and a sense of belonging and connection within our local communities.

CHRISTCHURCH AVON ATHLETICS CLUB – Junior Section
We are a well organised, friendly Junior Athletics Club – catering for children of all abilities in the 5-14yr age groups.
Club nights are Wednesdays 5pm -6.45pm (5/6yrs finish by 6.30pm) – at Burnside High School.
First Club night for the 2023/2024 season is Wednesday 16th October.
Saturday Inter-Club Competition at Nga Puna Wai all-weather track is available and top-quality coaching is provided.
REGISTRATION DAY – FOR ALL NEW MEMBERS:

TIME: 5.00-6.30pm
PLACE: Christchurch Avon Club Rooms – Burnside High School
(access from Greers Rd beside tennis courts)
FEES: $122 per child ($102 for the 2nd and subsequent children in the family)
