On behalf of the Board, welcome to the final Board Talk for 2024.

Another successful year for Elmwood Normal School nears its end and everyone can be proud of their personal progress, success and achievements this year. When I reflect back a year, the growth of students is amazing. The old saying "they grow up so fast" really does hold true.

The school too has been "growing" also and it's great to see Rimu block full of life with children learning and Mātai block feels just round the corner.
 
I would like to extend a huge thank you to all staff for your exceptional work . We all appreciate your efforts and dedication to the school and students. Thank you to Paul, Jill, and the leadership team for your leadership throughout the year. To those staff members leaving at the end of this year, we wish you the very best.

Thank you to the ENSCA team and our parent volunteers who are vital to the successful functioning of the school.  Finally, thank you to my fellow board members for your time, effort and contributions this year and a personal thank you to Paul and Vicki for helping me in my role on the board and as presiding member.

To those who are leaving, best wishes for the future, I hope you have many happy memories to take with you. To those remaining, we look forward to seeing you in 2025.
