CANVAS BAG DRAMA SCHOOL — Merivale Campus

Canvas Bag Drama School runs age ranked classes from 5 years up. You can join at any time and in addition, take advantage of our free trial class!

Kids Gym Sessions

We have access to a Gym Facility that your children are welcome to come and play in this July School Holidays, this will run between 1pm and 4pm and is an excellent way to burn some energy! July 11,13,15th,18,20,22nd.

The costs will be $10 an hour for one child, $15 an hour for two children, and $20 an hour for three children.

Kids Jewellery Making Classes

These winter holidays Workspace Studios are offering classes for kids to learn some amazing techniques in our professional jewellery workshop. We are running classes for two age groups: Piwakawaka (8-14) and Tui (10-18). We are a small friendly creative community and would love to introduce your child to the magic world of jewellery-making!

Piwakawaka - Pendant Making

Use our copper or brass shapes to make your own pendant! Learn to texture the metal with hammers, punches and letter stamps, then use coloured pencil to colour it how you like. The final step is choosing a cord to turn it into a wearable pendant or necklace! Kids are welcome to bring beads from home to add to their piece.

Dates and times: 11 July, 12 July, 18 July, 19 July, 10-11am, $34.

Tui - Stacking Rings

You'll create your own wearable ring stack from copper, brass and silver in this super fun 3-hour workshop. Learn to measure your finger, cut metal wire to length and texture it with hammers. Use a jeweller's torch to solder the rings and learn finishing techniques to polish them up! All materials provided including silver.

Marching Canterbury

Burwood Education Centre  - after school tutoring

Elizas Deli from our Hotel Elizas Manor 

We have just started up Elizas Deli from our Hotel Elizas Manor on Bealey Avenue and offer a range of family friendly heat and eat meals plus household groceries and essentials that we think would be perfect for families.  We also offer Grazing boxes and grazing tables which would be ideal for work nibbles or get-togethers.

All of these can be delivered within 10km of the city centre, orders prior to 12pm will be delivered the same day. We think the Deli would be great for families especially those households who are needing to isolate at this time. We can take out all the hassle of cooking and offer contactless delivery.
