The FCV-288 is a cost effective sounder, well suited for Inshore Commercial Fishing vessels. 

The FCV-288 architecture is based on the FCV-295. The sounder includes a 10.4” screen, and 1/2/3 kW output power in 50 and/or 200 kHz frequency. 

Similar level of fish detection performance as the FCV-295 is achieved with the lower price point, however functionality and specifications are limited compared with FCV-295. 

If you are looking for a sounder with excellent fish detection, but don't need all the "bells & whistles" then FCV-288 may be a great sounder for you. 

FEATURES

This 50-200 kHz bi-frequency sounder has an transmission power of 1 to 3 kW.

The automatic mode automatically adjusts the system to provide the best display possible, in shallow to deep waters.

The white line feature distinguishes bottom fish from bottom echo. The gain adjusts the sensitivity across the screen. Different alarms alert you if fish, dangerous situations, etc. are present. The echo position can be exported to a navigation chartplotter.

Please note: 

(1) The compatible frequencies are 50 kHz and 200 kHz only

(2) Display color setting is set to “64” colors only, instead of selectable 8/16/64 colors.

(3) Due to no bonded LCD or no AR coating/film on the LCD, there will be limitations of visibility under direct sunlight and of durability under super-humid environment.

(4) Mounting method is “bracket mount” only.

(5) The default waterproof level is lower than the FCV-295. To improve the level, local protection is necessary.

(7) No CE marking is available.
