Welcome Peter Cantrick...

In September, ENL were very pleased to welcome aboard Peter Cantrick as ENL Nelson Branch Manager.

Based at our Nelson office, Peter oversees the running of our Nelson operations that provide the local fishing fleet with solid service & support.

About Peter Cantrick:

Peter was born in Southland and moved to Motueka when his family relocated in the 1980's.

He has held both technical and service roles in the automotive industry since the early 1990's, and leadership/technical roles since 2006.

Having completed his Automotive Engineering Trade Certificate, he then progressed into the technical and management roles within the Bowater Group. After having a hiatus from the Automotive industry, he then moved into the drilling industry involved with environmental, geotechnical drilling & rock anchoring. Following this Peter returned to the automotive industry to start up the Bowater Hyundai, Isuzu, Renault Dealership which he became Branch Manager of.

Over the decades living in the Upper South Island, Peter has built up contacts and is already well known to many people in the commercial industry

It is Peter's solid leadership & service management strengths that saw him appointed to the ENL Nelson Branch Manager role.

ENL have strong commercial roots, having worked side by side with commercial operators since the 1960’s. 

Nelson is NZ's largest commercial fishing port, and in the early '90’s ENL invested in opening a dedicated Nelson branch with manned workshop to support the local Deepsea & Inshore Fleet. Since then, our Nelson team have always had a strong fishing focus, and provide our clients with solid technical and sales support. 

Thirty years later, ENL Nelson continue to provide quality local support services that help  keep the local fleet's electronics running smoothly, so Captains can focus on fishing.
