Chris has spent the last eight years as the General Manager of Operations at Venues Ōtautahi, where he successfully managed Christchurch's main event venues and delivered a range of events, including International Cricket, All Blacks, Super Rugby and major concerts such as Elton John and Six60. Before moving to New Zealand, Chris worked in Consumer Business roles within the AFL and NRL at Collingwood Football Club, GWS Giants, and the Parramatta Eels, leading and driving strategies to increase membership revenue and create greater fan experiences.
Chris will be joined by his wife, Kirsty, and their two young daughters, Lucy (4) and Annie (2), who will be relocating soon. In the meantime, they will be making regular visits to Eden Park to familiarise themselves with their new surroundings.
