The national arts and cultural events response network will be convening for their second regular online hui at 11 am, Monday 6 April. This week, focusing on festivals.

PANNZ/Auckland Live —

PANNZ, in partnership with Auckland Live, would like to invite the creative sector from across Aotearoa to come together in response to the COVID-19 crisis.


Facilitated by Barbarian Productions’ artistic director, Jo Randerson, the panel of experts will include:

David Inns, Chief Executive of Auckland Arts Festival

Meg Williams, Executive Director of Tāwhiri (NZ Festival of the Arts, Wellington Jazz Festival, Second Unit and Lexus Song Quest)

Tama Waipara (Ruapani, Rongowhakaata and Ngāti Porou), Executive Director/Artistic Director of Te Tairāwhiti Arts Festival


You can join via the Facebook event or via YouTube

You will be able to watch the hui live, which will be recorded and made available afterwards for those who are unable to join. During the live stream, you will be able to ask questions via the comment threads, on the Facebook event, and on YouTube. We will do our best to respond to all questions during the hui, or failing that will gather them into common themes to be answered afterwards.
