Many members will remember Gwen Keele who was a familar face at the EVANZ Conference for a number of years and a former Board member. She'll be joining us this year as she's based in Hamilton as Legal Advisor to Waikato Tainui.

Gwen will be hosting a table at the Knowledge Cafe discussing  Venue Hire Agreements in relation to COVID-19 changing levels and restrictions, cancellation and the use of Force Majeure. Gwen has made the following generous offer:

"If you have EVANZ members who would like me to review their venue hire agreements for them on these points too, please just tell them to send me a copy of their venue hire agreement ahead of time. I can’t formally advise them as my practising certificate is limited to advising my employer now (I hold an in-house practising certificate now) but I’m happy to have look, make some remarks/suggestions, and best of all that means since I can’t formally advise them it’s also free, yay."

Gwen would also like to offer individual time-slots on the Wednesday morning after Shelly Davies’ presentation if anyone wants 10-20 minutes each to get her feedback.
