Michaela HodgesCurriculum Support Teacher michaelahodges@fairfield.school.nz Michaela has been working at Fairfield School for the last 8 years, across the junior/middle teams. She creates a calm and welcoming learning environment for our tamariki, and has strengths in Literacy, Maths and the Arts. This year, Michaela is working in a Structured Literacy intervention role supporting Year 3-6 students. She is also covering Year 4 maths, and CRT release in the Year 3/4 block. |
Anthony BreeseMusic Specialist anthonybreese@fairfield.school.nz Anthony is thrilled to be back at Fairfield, bringing his passion for music and creativity into the classroom. With a diverse background in guitar, drumming, ukulele, singing, performing, musical theatre, and songwriting, along with expertise in audio engineering and music technology, he offers so much to our weekly music sessions for students Year 2-8. Anthony leads the Fairfield School Rock Band, an extension opportunity for talented and keen students. His goal is to inspire students to explore music in all forms — from live performance and composition, to digital production, and to help children them grow as confident, creative musicians. |
Paula NichollsPE Specialist paulanicholls@fairfield.school.nz Paula started at Fairfield School in 2025 after teaching for a number of years in NZ, Australia and the UK. She is a very experienced Physical Education with a background in Secondary Physical Education, Primary Physical Education, and Sports Coordination with a background in Sports Science. Paula is currently the PE Specialist, working with children from Y2-8 across two days per week. She is passionate about nurturing students’ potential, encouraging growth, and developing their confidence in sport and physical activity. |
