Houses
When your child starts school they will be placed into one of four houses - Kaikorai (Blue), Martin (Yellow), Pikiwara (Green), or Walton (Red). These houses have various competitions organised throughout the year and house merits are given out to children for positive behaviour.
Meet the 2025 House Captains
A passionate group of student leaders ready to inspire, support and cheer their houses on throughout the year.
KAIKORAI: Quin Parker and Calla Weir
Quin Parker
Kia ora, I’m Quin and I am absolutely thrilled to be one of Kaikorai’s 2025 House Captains.
I play many sports but some of my favourites are rugby, cricket, and BMX. I am part of many school groups such as Pest Control, Waka Wairua and Sports Academy. My favourite subject in school would be Art, this is because I find it relaxing and difficult.
One goal I had in mind when I found out that I was a House Captain ( I was in the USA when I found out), was helping new students that feel uncomfortable changing schools or starting school a bit like me when I started last year).
It would be amazing if Kaikorai was the best house in the school. GOOOO KAIKORAI!!!!!!!!!
