Room 19 - Whaea Jen

Kia orana, Welcome to Room 19! I am Whaea Jen, your new teacher. I am married to Josh and we have three children: Eligh, Rocko, and Bentley. 

I am SO excited to welcome you to our class and cannot wait until 2022! In Room 19 we LOVE to follow our passions, which we do by completing passion projects every week! Think about your passions over the summer break, bring them ready to go for 2022!

● Watching my family play cricket (from the sideline!)

Room 18 - Jim Culley

Kia Ora, welcome to Room 18! My name is Mr. Culley and I will be your teacher this year in Room 18. 

You can call me Mr. C and your parents can call me Jim. I have been teaching for 8 years and have taught in Coopers Beach (Northland), Waihi Beach (Coromandel) and now in Horowhenua. 

I have taught all levels of primary school and I’m really excited to teach Y7/8 again next year. 

About me: I live in Foxton Beach 

Favourite colour: Green 

Favourite food: Burgers!! 

Interesting fact: I run a photography business 

Hobbies: Surfing, golf, playing the guitar

Room 17 - Mrs. Rainham

Mrs. Caroline Rainham ROOM Mālō ni Welcome to Room 17 !

 I’m Mrs. Rainham, your new teacher for 2022. 

We are part of the Raekura team. I would have taught some of you last year and to those of you who have been in my class, I look forward to continuing to teach you and to seeing you continue to flourish. To those of you who are new to my class, I am really excited about getting to know you and your learning style. 

Until we get that opportunity to get to know each other, here are a few things about me: 

● I’m married with three tamariki. 

● In my spare time, I like to spend time with my whanau and friends, read, cook, bake and keep fit by running with my dog, walking, or biking. 

● I love the beach.

Room 14 - Mrs. Wardlaw

Kia ora and welcome to Room 14! I am Miss Gemma Wardlaw and I will be your teacher in 2021.

 I am looking forward to a great year in room 14. We are part of Raekura team. 

I can’t wait to learn all about you, but first here is a little bit about me:

●I have 5 children. They are Loki, Khyle, Madison, Aiden and Connor.

Room 21 - Mrs. Duff

Kia Ora, Welcome to Room 21. I am Mrs. Beth Duff and I am going to be your teacher for 2022!

 I am married to Bernie Duff and I have three grown up children; Rowan, Christopher, and Matthew. Rowan is a plumber and is married to Dee who is from Ireland. They have a daughter, Aoife, who is 3, and a son, Oisín, who is 9 weeks old. 

Christopher works on the movie sets as a grip and lives in Auckland. Matthew lives in Christchurch and is a mechanical engineer.

In Room 21 we LOVE to follow our passions, which we do by completing passion projects every week! Think about your passions over the summer break and bring them ready to go for 2022! 

A few of my favourite things to do are: 

● Spending time with my family and friends 

● Walking - anywhere and everywhere 

● Listening to music - all types 

● Reading - all sorts 

● Gardening - especially growing lilies and roses 

● Traveling - especially to Japan (nine times in total!)
