The Christchurch City Council has notified us that the Fendalton library at the Fendalton Service centre has closing for refurbishments.

They highlighted that some children are going there after school to change library books and others to wait for their parents.  We all know and value the purpose of the library and this does not include childcare.  If children have been going there to wait parents will need to make alternative arrangements 

 The  planned re-opening day is Monday 29th July.
