Tech Wizards night
The Tech Wizards had their parent talk night which was a chance for them to show off their learning from the year. Here are two students' accounts of the wonderful night.
This year in Tech Wizards we focused on coding, the Tech Wizard Talk Night was a night where we showed off what we learnt to the parents. Apps and other coding objects such as Minecraft, Scratch, Stop motion, Kahoot and some others.
There were stations stationed around the Shared Space and the parents moved around our stations. For a while we also focused on Minecraft Education Edition, we built a school in groups of fives.
Right now we are doing something that Minecraft Education Edition has challenged us with. "UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) Based on Global Warming". Our challenge is to build things that you and your buddy think will help slowly stop Global Warming. You could build a farm, a cottage house, etc, etc. But you could only use sustainable objects.
I really enjoyed Tech Wizards this year because I had so many opportunities that I could not just have at home or just at school. I think it is totally worth it getting to school at 8:00 because it develops your Tech Skills and helps you later in life.

This year we had a night to show off all of the things we learnt like Minecraft education, stop motion, scratch e.c.t in the shared space.
I really enjoyed it because I got to show what I had learnt to all the presents at the parent talk night. All the parents and children all listened and they were all nice.
I liked how all the parents got to move around all the shared space visiting everyone and I got to meet new parents I didn’t know. I think I learned a lot this year.
