A huge thank you to everyone who attended, supported and organised the wonderful fair last Sunday. The fair was a tremendous success despite the rain! Early indications are that the fair raised over $25,000 for the pool rebuild project! 

The fair was a massive undertaking and involved many hours of work from the PTA, class liasons, parents and staff. Thank you for all the time and effort that you put into making the day such a success. Special thanks must go to Leisl Carrodous and the fair team.

A big thank you to all the parents, grandparents, family friends and  siblings who joined us for 'Read, Feed, Speed'. This was a very well attended event and it was fantastic to see so many men reading, playing and hanging out with their children! Thank you to Carmen Dodd for organising this event beautifully and to the mums who manned the sausage sizzle so fantastically!

As our thoughts turn to the end of the year we have planned our final assemblies as follows:

• 15th December - Year Six Leavers Assembly @1.30pm in the hall
  
• 16th December - Final Assembly @9.30am in the hall

Absences

Please remember to always let the office know if your children will be absent from school. Email absences@fendalton.school.nz 

If you need to take your child away from school for even a short time during school hours, such as a doctors appointment, your child will need to check in and out via the school office. Many thanks for your help with this.

Lucky Book Club

Lucky Book Club closes Wednesday 25th November. Please note this is earlier as we need to get orders in so that they arrive before school finishes at the end of the year. If you wish to make any purchases as Christmas gifts, please leave a note with your order and your contact details so I can let you know when the arrive rather than being sent to the classroom.
