Fendalton Sport
Once again we have a lot of fun and competitive activities planned for the year. This week is the start of the Year 3 and 4 mini ball competition. We have three teams entered at Bishopdale YMCA.
Friday interschool sport will start tomorrow. We are sending three touch, 1 softball and two futsal teams to Hagley Park. Thank you to the parents who have offered to help supervise.

Touch is finishing this week. Please can you return all the Touch tops to the school office by the end of next week. Thank you to all the parents who helped manage and coach the teams.
Christchurch Boys High School students are taking 5 sport coaching lessons with the Year 5 and 6 children.

Twelve children went to a Physical Activity Leaders Development day to develop skills to lead and implement activities in the playground at lunchtimes.

We have been very lucky to have some Football coaches taking sessions with the girls during the lunch hours and Jeff from Canterbury Table Tennis setting up some skills and games with a group.

Triathlon
The entry is online for the Primary Sport Canterbury Triathlon at Oxford. If your child is competing you will need to be available to take them and supervise them. You can register here

Swimming Sports
The Fendalton Year 4,5,6 competitive swimming sports are on Monday 6th March 9:45 - 11:45am at Jellie Pool. Good luck to all the swimmers.

Best wishes to all the children taking part in the Weetbix Tryathlon at Jellie Park on Sunday. There will be a Fendalton Gazebo for parents and children to meet other Fendalton School community. Many thanks to Nigel Murphy for organising the gazebo.
