This term Hub 2’s writing focus has been on poetry. We have looked at and written many different types of poems including Paint Sample Poems and Collective Noun poems.

When writing our paint sample poems we talked a lot about metaphors. Metaphors describe something as if it is something else. Our poems look at how colour can be many other things.

We really enjoyed making up collective nouns for different objects and things that we can find in the playground or forest and turning them into a poem.
