Fantastic to see the NZ Police here this morning checking speed & driver behaviours, helping keep our children safe. We encourage them to be here as often as possible.

We would like to remind you to be very vigilant and observe all the road rules, especially during the darker winter months.

Our children do an amazing job managing the school crossing but when parents park illegally or do U-turns close to the crossing, their visibility is impaired leading to potential close calls. These close calls are happening on a daily basis. It is a busy time and we appreciate you want to pick your children up quickly but would ask that you consider parking a little bit further down the road and walking back to school.

Staff will be recording incidences of dangerous driving/manoeuvres or inconsiderate parking and reporting to the Community Roadwatch Section of the NZ Police.
