Today Mary from the Orchards in Schools programme visited our garden to check on our fruit trees. She talked to some junior children about what's happening with the trees then she helped the children plant lots of wildflower seeds in the soil under the trees. The children learnt it's good to plant flowers under the trees because it encourages good bugs to live in the ground, it stops the soil from drying out and it will make our garden more beautiful!Thank you Mary!
If you come to Sunday's PTA Working Bee, you may be able to help with some garden jobs. The pots around our school will get some love and attention too. It would be great to see many families there!
