Mark Inglis visits FOS.
We were very privileged to have Mark Inglis visit to speak to Years 3-6 about his amazing life.
He focussed his talk on our learning focus, "How can we change challenges into opportunities to make a difference?" Mark has spent most of his adult life facing challenges and shared with the children his wonderful attitude to rising to face problems with a positive outlook.
We were all delighted to hear how Loch Alexander's father Wayne, had played such a significant part in Mark's many achievements. Having designed his legs and also climbing Everest with him when Mark became the first (and only amputee,) to reach the summit.
