Fendalton School — May 3, 2023
The term kicked off with an ANZAC themed day which meant the students learnt the history and were able to participate in a service of remembrance. We were lucky to have military personnel from our community to support us with the service.
Lieutenant Shaun Heaslip talked to the school about the kinds of roles that the military carry out currently and then the service ended with Lance Corporal Joel Williams playing the last post.
We are very grateful to have both of these men join us and share their knowledge and skills with us. Each class made a wreath which was placed by the RSA crosses. A coin trail in the morning raised $230 for the RSA.
