Sod Turning Ceremony

A significant milestone in the start of our rebuild - post the Christchurch earthquake- occurred this morning at Fendalton School. Matt Bateman- Kaumatua attended our sod-turning ceremony, representing our local rūnanga, along with our local MP Sarah Pallett, representatives from the MOE, Board members, Construction staff, student whanau leaders and their families. This blesses the land and honours the past to ensure a successful rebuild of our School. An exciting step forward for our rebuild
