Last Thursday and Friday, our Year 5/6 children from Wheki/ Ponga enjoyed a day on the water. Inspired by the recent America’s Cup, they were able to learn the ropes through KORE education’s Sailing Programme. They learned how to rig up the boats, control the sheet, steer and even recover from a capsized vessel. A special thank you to all the parents who assisted with transport on both days.
