It's that time again, where a new security hole has been discovered and is out in the wild. Rest assured, we are taking care in ensuring all of our services, suppliers and systems are up to date, including your websites, platforms and integrations.

There has been some media coverage lately in the cloud computing world regarding a new security vulnerability called Foreshadow (or L1TF to the development community) which is affecting Intel processors - the driving force of many cloud computing platforms. The security hole was publicly reported a few days ago after the hole was patched up.

If exploited, Foreshadow allows a malicious user to jump between isolated environments in the cloud. The good news is that there is no evidence anyone has used this hole to breach cloud computing platforms.
