Workout #32 - Magic handles and conditioning
This will take you only 30 minutes today. Sometimes short and sharp is more effective than long and slow.
Dribbling
Use the Force Handles Series #2 Video cues for help. Make sure and do the reps for both your left and right hands.
“Magic’s 300”
- Ankle height x25 (from 0-19 sec. on video)
- Knee height x25 (from 0-19 sec. on video)
- Shoulder height x25 (from 0-19 sec. on video)
- Low Crossovers x20 (from Handle video 18-22sec.)
- Wide Crossovers x20 (same as normal, but ball goes outside your knees)
- “Double Tap” Crossovers x25 (Video from 34-54sec.)
- “Figure 8” x10 (watch Figure 8 Video from 33sec.)
Repeat for two total rounds
Vertical Jump Training (10 min.)

Landing Series (you need a step, low step ladder, or a bottom stair = something stable that you can step off)
- 5 reps form landing (18:00 on video)
- 5 reps form landing (19:08 on video - heels raised, you are on the balls of your feet a bit now)
- 5 reps form landing + jump + land (19:47 on video)
Repeat the above 3 drills for a total of 3 rounds
Strength Jump Series
- Tension Jumps (20:58 on video) - 5 reps for 3 rounds
- Split Stance Jumps (21:42 on video) - 5 reps left, 5 reps right leg for 3 rounds
Conditioning Circuit
- Stretches / Range of Motion Exercises of your Choice
- Squats x 10
- Calf Raises x 10
- Side Prone Hold 30 Seconds each side (modified is one knee on the ground)
- Hands Off Press-ups (Chest to ground, release your hands, then hands back and push up) x10
- Hill/Mountain Climbers x 30 Total (watch Mountain Climber video from 50-55sec.)
Repeat for a total of 3 Rounds
No shots to log today with the jot form. If you put up your own shots though, make sure and log them with the 2000 Club Form.
