Getting here and parking

Forsyth Barr Stadium —

Plan ahead for a stress-free night.

Forsyth Barr Stadium is located at 130 Anzac Ave.

Getting here is easy but may require some planning. Where possible we encourage using public transport or arriving by foot. Forsyth Barr Stadium is an easy 20-minute walk from the Octagon and there will be free shuttle buses running.

There are bus services from the city centre to the Albany/Forth Street area. To check timetables go to www.orc.govt.nz.

Please note: The Dundas Street bridge is currently closed for major works and detours are in place - if you normally travel this way, plan ahead.

Free Shuttles

Free shuttle buses for concert goers will run from the Octagon central carriageway every 5 minutes from 4pm – 7pm. This free shuttle service will return to the Octagon from Harbour Terrace immediately after the concert.

Parking

If you are arriving by car, limited car parking is available in the immediate area surrounding the Stadium and parking restrictions in the area will be in place from 3pm.

Parking at the Stadium in the East End car park is only for Forsyth Barr Stadium Members with permits.

There is a walkway linking the wharf area from Wickliffe Street near the corner of Fryatt Street to Forsyth Barr Stadium. There is free car parking all around this area.

Mobility Parking

There are seven mobility spaces available in the East End car park, accessible via State Highway 88 for valid mobility parking permit holders. Additional mobility spaces are available on Logan Park Drive, accessible via Union Street East. You can also drop-off at the Stadium through the East End car park, or near Gate D. If needed, buggy transport is available to get you to your gate - just ask the closest security guard.
