What got you interested in trains?

Kyro remembers his Grandfather painting train pictures when he was young. He remembers seeing them and how it started his love of trains.

How did you start to volunteer at the Pleasant Point Railway?

I just walked in one day four years ago and asked if there was anything I could do, I got given the job of clicking the tickets. I have since been made a Fireman, my job is to keep up with the driver, making sure I'm feeding the fire with wood. We go through a winters worth of wood in one open day! I also am checking the water and steam. Every now and then I can drive the train, I really enjoy my jobs there.
