Author Melanie Dixon visited our school as part of the Storylines Mackenzie Tour.

She shared what it is like to be an author. She also read an excerpt from her book New Dawning #1 in the Edge of Light Trilogy. Students learned about Flash Fiction. Students had 3 mins to write a 3 line poem about where they lived and were told just to write not to think. It was fun but tricky.
