On Wednesday 15th March Jack, Josh, Conner and Daniel attended the Aoraki Secondary School Athletics. The boys competed in a number of events including shot put, discus and 100m sprint. They represented Geraldine High School to their highest level in both sports and behaviour. 

Jack Leov took 1st place in the shot put and discus, throwing an impressive 14.85m in the discus. 

Josh Williams was 2nd place in the shot put and discus and 1st place in the 100m sprint. 

Daniel Baird was 3rd in the discus, 2nd in the 100m sprint. 

Conner Allen broke all his personal bests. In each event, he always competed with a smile and high-fived his competitors. 

The boys loved their day out and cheered on all the other athletes, whether they were from GHS or other schools. As a special treat for their behaviour and successes, they had a little treat from Mrs Muru and Mrs Henry at McDonalds.
