Year 10

Code: 10OED

The main focus for the students will be using games and activities in and out of the classroom to develop self and social development. We will use the outdoors as a medium to enhance this. Rock climbing at Spur rd, flat water kayaking in the School pool and on a local lake and day tramp in the local area. The group will learn some camp craft skills and cook a meal on cookers. They will plan for an expedition either involving tramping and or rafting.

The students will need to have a willingness to have go at different activities and be an active team player.

This is an entry level course which will help set the students up for level 1 Outdoor Education.
