There are some exciting things happening in our G.A.T.E programme at the moment, here is a quick update:

Extension Writing -This update can be found in the English section!

Chess Club -
I am super excited to offer G.H.S. a Chess Club up and running every Tuesday in the Library during lunchtime. Next week we are putting together our Canterbury teams, this will be in the notices so make sure ākonga come along.

Minecraft Club -Is now every Thursday in the library, this is open to all students and I'm working hard with Mountain View High to put together an interschools competition later this term! So be in to compete!

Thriving Minds -

I am so excited to be taking 5 students from our Senior School to the Thriving Minds Seminar in Christchurch later this month. This Academy Learning provides world class “thinking days” at which students engage with a wide range of topics and a balanced academic programme aimed at stimulating thought beyond the constraints of the curriculum.
