Primary Industry Update
Level 1 students have completed their Autumn garden tidy and have planted Daffodils and Tulips. They are roaring into water supply and fencing practice with the ultimate goal to make the fencing team to compete at the Regional Young Farmer Competition. Plans are under way for the class trips this term which include the Geraldine Forest, Turley’s Packhouse and Reith's Hub in Rakaia.
Level 2 students have been working hard on the chainsaws in preparation for testing at the end of the month. The have completed their advanced fencing course over the holidays with Archie Chisholm being named the top student.
Both groups attended the Primary Industries Pathways Expo here at school and have been busy with the firewood fundraiser.
