New Zealand Opera are bringing their Opera in Schools programme to our school on Thursday 3 April. They will be presenting a 40-minute adaptation of The Elixir of Love performed in English. Re-situating this light and very funny work in a distinctly Aotearoa setting, The Elixir of Love is a pitch-perfect introduction to the rich and vibrant artform of opera, designed specifically to connect with young people.

After the performance, tauira (students) have the opportunity to meet the artists and ask any questions they might have about the performance or about being a professional singer and artist.
