Year 13

A CV template was emailed to all year 13 students earlier this year so that they have a CV for when they transition out of school. CV tutorials have started and students are encouraged to attend to learn how to target their CV to a specific job advertisement.  Student's need to email their CV to the careers advisor before the end of term 1.

A REALME identification is needed for students applying for halls of residence. Student's attended a tutorial on this and it is hoped that this process is completed before the end of term 1 and workloads increase.

Learner's Licence Tutorials:

The first tutorial was held this week to help support students to gain their learner's driver's licence.  This enables students access to more employment opportunities when they are able to drive themselves there.  Students are encouraged to sign up for lunchtime tutorials to support them to gain their Learner's Licence.

Gateway:

Student's have started their pre-placement visits in preparation to start work experience. A big thank you to Sally Houston for the hours she spends organising these.
