School Music Exchange

Five students went to Waitaki Girls last week for an unmissable opportunity to perform with several other schools including Waitaki Girls, Waitaki Boys, Craighead Diocesan, Mackenzie College and Roncalli College. Students got to perform four pieces as part of a large all-school Orchestra: Country Roads, Hedwig's Theme, He Honere and New World Symphony. 

Following this, students broke off into groups and rehearsed their chosen pieces and later performed those in the concert. Students got to perform for a local primary school and other students from Waitaki Girls. All students, especially the year 7s and 8s reported they enjoyed their day.

We look forward to hosting this event when our turn arrives.
