A word from Mr Ducher

Kia ora koutou,

And now it's time to say goodbye to all our company. Term Three has officially come to a close and the great effort put forth by our students must be recognised. Our students persevered and built great skills along the way this term. Whether they were individually working on their interest module books for their qualifications through the SPEC programme, or advancing their business-savvy skills through Whimsical Wonders and the Young Enterprise Scheme, students in TWA can and should feel an extreme amount of pride for their accomplishments.

As we race towards the final end-of-year activities, there will continue to be the high standard of learning that the students have grown accustomed to while working in Te Whare Ako. The staff will support the students with their goals and ensure that they are gaining every opportunity to get the most out of their educational journey in TWA.

Lastly, I would like to acknowledge the wonderful work that has been done by our students with the many events that took place. Specifically a special recognition of the awesome performance that students in TWA put on during Vibes. The reactions from the audience and the sense of accomplishment certainly radiated from their faces. It is an absolute pleasure being able to witness their personal growth and sense of self-pride humbly swell. We are very fortunate as a department to work with some of the most uniquely talented and fearless individuals in the school.

Have a great holiday break, stay safe, and rest up.

Ngā mihi,

Mr. Ducher
