GHS PTA

The GHS PTA is an amazing group of parents who help and support the school in many ways. A number of committee members are coming to the end of their involvement with the PTA this year with their children leaving GHS.

We are looking for motivated, energetic and supportive parents to come on board so we don't end up not having a PTA at this school. We have a great amount of fun helping with catering for school events, raising money for the extra activities and supplies for your children and are very proud to have supported some big initiatives at school including the Library upgrade, upcoming Gym expansions, the upcoming Year 7 & 8 playground update, and we support the senior and junior Prize Giving's by donating prizes, among many other projects over the years.

We meet once a month in the school Library so we would love to get some friendly faces to join us in supporting your school. We would like to invite anyone interested or wanting to find out more to our last meeting for the year for free dessert and refreshments. This will be held at the Village Inn on Wednesday 27th November at 7pm. We look forward to seeing you there.

Geraldine High School PTA are running a fantastic fundraiser on behalf of the school. We along with the amazing support of Hyundai Mid and South Canterbury are able to offer you the chance to win a brand new Hyundai Kona valued at $31,490. There are only 1000 tickets available at $100 each so be quick to secure yours today. Tickets are available from the School Office and local events. The money raised will help fund our student development programme promoting increased literacy and numeracy achievement for GHS students.
